I’ve always had two passions in life, people and the environment. I am passionate about what I do and work hard on things I care about, that’s why I love being a celebrant.
When I’m not marrying people, I’m leading Community Education for Surf Life Saving NZ across the Central Region, helping our communities enjoy the coast with a little more knowledge, confidence and safety.
It’s the perfect way to combine my love of people with my passion for protecting and appreciating the natural environment. Two very different roles, but both are all about bringing people together and making a positive difference. I couldn’t ask for a better combination!
Home for me is beautiful Island Bay on Wellington’s stunning south coast. I’m a proud mum, part-time chauffeur, and occasional personal assistant to my gorgeous (and sassy!) daughter, wife to one amazing man, and dog mum to a spoilt four-legged family member, who keeps us all on our toes!
My husband and I were married in Italy in 2006, and I can still remember all the excitement, nerves, and joyful chaos that came with our wedding day. It’s a feeling that never leaves you, and it’s one of the reasons I absolutely love helping couples create a ceremony that feels just right for them.
